All data you enter into KnoWHO is stored locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage.
The optional voice feature works in two steps: your device transcribes your speech to text on-device using iOS's built-in speech recognition (audio never leaves your phone). That text transcript is then sent to Anthropic's API, which parses it into contact fields. The transcript is used only to generate a response and is not stored or used for training. You can add contacts manually at any time without using this feature.

KnoWHO does not use analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
The optional voice feature uses Anthropic to parse voice transcripts into contact fields. Transcripts are transmitted securely and are not retained or used to train Anthropic's models. No other contact data is sent to Anthropic or any other service.
KnoWHO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
